It was a perfect day for an ocean-view wedding at the La Playa Hotel in Carmel-by-the-Sea for Magdalena Aldana and Marty Azarani. They were so great to plan with and loved the Mediteranian feel of the wedding since they had traveled to Europe on many a vacation so of course La Playa was the perfect venue.
Kim Larson Bridal Hair and Make Up prepared the ladies as Susan Helgeson from www.SusanHelgesonPhotography.com started capturing the moments of the day. The Bride looked graceful in her beautiful ivory gown and her Groom was so dapper in his black tuxedo. The Poseidon Room was done up beautifully with champagne and cream colored linens provided by Elegant Affair Linens. Father Rudy Ruiz from St. Benedicts performed the afternoon ceremony as the Monterey String Quartet played on. Marty and Magdalena were so sweet as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife.
The reception was a blast with dance music provided by Bret Conneau with Dance Trax DJ’s and the crowd danced up a storm. Magdalena and Marty smiled all night then went off to enjoy a two-week honeymoon in Europe where they got to see the real Poseidon in person. What a wonderful, gracious and kind couple. We look forward to hearing from them in the future.
