We had another fabulous day at the breathtaking Holman Ranch with the wedding celebration of Kathryn Weslow and Craig Webster. The day started out at Los Laureles Lodge where theHill House was bustling with activity when Carol and I arrived to check in on our bride as well as collect her gorgeous gown to be transported to Holman where she was to dress. Katie’s colors were sage green and pink so it’s was so cute to see all of the bridesmaids running around in matching pink and white tank tops and black sweatpants with “bridesmaid” scripted in bling on their butts.
We met with with the talented Scott Campbell of Scott Campbell Photography and he and his wonderful assistant Theresa who were busy capturing all of the special moments of preparation. Scott made sure to get a picture of Katie holding her grandmother’s handkerchief. It was a special way of remember her on this special day.
On to the ranch…Carol and I arrive and get to work getting everything going. The site comes alive with activity as Christine Cater arrives with the flowers – mostly pink hydrangea and roses. Michael’s Catering – lead by Sierra Weiss, arrives and there are people everywhere. The anticipation is building….
The glowing bride arrives to dress. Her gown is made up of layers and layers of sheer material. It is gorgeous and she is a vision in it. A short while later her groom arrives and all of the daper groomsmen are taken into the gameroom…
Fast forward to the ceremony…preformed by family friend, Judge Jerry from San Francisco. The weather is perfect, if not on the warm side, and the backdrop for the ceremony is a the vineyard and mountain range. Magical, and the guests agree.
Julie Alexander, who has played her harp beautifully for the ceremony, continues through the cocktail hour.
We begin the dinner hour with some warm and funny words from Jim Weslow – Father of the Bride, then toasts by Brent, Allison and Brittney then it’s time to eat! Katie and Craig have decided to have food stations versus a buffet or plated meal. Lots of variety and everything is delicious.
After dinner, Tim from Sound in Motion gets the party started! Patrick and Charlie from Big Time Video are there to capture all the action as it happens and everyone’s having a great time. This is one of those wedding where you can feel the love.

Anyway, the night sails by and next thing you know Tim’s calling the last dance – Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” which turns into a sing-along.
At the end of the night Katie the Bride proclaims that her face hurts from smiling so much - I tell her that’s the way it’s suppose to be. We’ve had a wonderful time and are honored to have been a part of their day
